Abstract

Glauconite, a potassium-rich green mineral of the mica group, has gained increasing importance in modern science and industry because of its multifunctional properties and diverse applications. Traditionally known as a sedimentary mineral in marine deposits, glauconite is now recognized as a valuable resource that bridges agriculture, industry, environmental management, and medicine. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the main directions of glauconite utilization, showing how these fields are interconnected, and demonstrating its role in sustainable development and interdisciplinary innovation.
