Abstract
This article examines the formation of students’ ability to analyze literary works as a pedagogical issue. The significance of developing analytical ability and its role in shaping an individual’s personality are highlighted. Tasks that direct students towards analyzing literary works are illustrated through examples from school textbooks, and methodological recommendations are provided.
