THE USE OF DIALECTS IN FAKHRIYOR’S WORKS

Abstract

This article examines the use of words by Fakhriyor, a representative of modern Uzbek poetry, in particular, the level of use of dialect words. Fakhriyor’s poems mainly use dialect words in the verb, noun, and adjective categories. The examples show that the poet used dialect words to enhance the meaning of the word and increase the impact of the poem.
