Abstract

This article examines the linguo-pragmatic interpretation of the image of “Bobur” in historical novels. The central focus is on how Bobur’s personality, his historical role, and his psychological portrait are represented through artistic devices in literary texts. Particular attention is given to the challenges of preserving national-cultural connotations in translation and accurately conveying the pragmatic dimensions of the image. The study also highlights possible solutions from a scholarly perspective. Moreover, on the basis of comparative-pragmatic analysis, the article explores the role of the image of “Bobur” in translations in expressing national spirit and historical context, as well as its effectiveness in influencing readers.
