Abstract

Relevance: Intervertebral disc herniations are accompanied by inflammatory and metabolic disorders that affect tissue repair after surgery. The purpose is to study the dynamics of immunobiochemical markers in patients with lumbar disc herniations after TLIF surgery using cell-based technologies. Materials and Methods: A total of 102 patients aged 27–90 years were examined; serum levels of osteocalcin, β-CrossLaps, CRP, VEGF-A, TGF-β1, TNF-α, tPA, and PAI were determined using ELISA. Postoperative assessment revealed gradual normalization of bone metabolism and cytokine levels. By the sixth month, most markers approached control values, indicating restoration of metabolic balance. The use of cell-based biomaterials in TLIF accelerates bone regeneration and reduces postoperative complications.
