Stages of Creating Uzbek Language Multimedia Corpus

Abstract

This article discusses the comprehensive process of creating the Uzbek language multimedia corpus as a resource for educational and linguistic research purposes. It outlines the processes of database creation, its integration into the corpus system and the tagging of video content texts. The resulting of subcorpus is incorporated into the Uzbek language corpus and is available on the electronic platform uzbekcorpus.uz. The developed subcorpus significantly contributes to the expansion of the Uzbek language corpus, providing a rich resource for corpus linguistics research, language technology development, and linguistic analysis of multimedia texts.
