Abstract
The article explores the symbiosis between modern clinical medicine and traditional medicine, emphasizing their role in safeguarding public health and future prospects. It highlights the need for physicians to meet new professional demands, the growing importance of preventive medicine, and the risks posed by the increasing artificiality and chemical nature of pharmaceuticals. Special attention is given to Professor I.R. Askarov’s contribution as the founder of the preventive medicine and traditional healing school in Uzbekistan. The paper also discusses the historical roots of prevention and its enduring relevance for contemporary clinical practice.
