Abstract

The article discusses the synthesis of acyl derivatives based on aromatic hydrocarbons, phenols, and amines, and their significance in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and the oil-gas industry. Researchers at the National University of Uzbekistan, led by Professor A.K. Abdushukurov, investigated C-, O-, and N-acylation reactions with chloroacetyl chloride using various catalysts, including metal salts, metal complexes, and FeCl₃/SiO₂–TiO₂ nanocatalysts. The studies revealed differences in isomer reactivity and product yields. Biological activity tests showed that the synthesized compounds possess herbicidal, fungicidal, bactericidal, inhibitory, and stimulatory properties. The work resulted in around 20 patents, with some compounds, including the highly active preparation "Fentsetat," implemented in industrial production and applied in oil-gas corrosion protection and polymer stabilization.
