Abstract

The article presents a scientific analysis of the formal and structural characteristics of associative units observed in the speech of preschool children. The primary aim of the study is to identify the internal grammatical structure of associative units, to examine the hierarchical relationships between dependent and governing components, and to determine the syntactic functions of connecting elements. The results of the syntactic analysis revealed that the structural model of children’s associative thinking is directly connected with the developing system of their language.
