Abstract
This article analyzes the linguocultural characteristics of the categories “good” and “evil” in English and Uzbek. Based on proverbs, it explores the moral content and cultural connotations of these concepts within national worldviews. The comparative study reveals both universal and culture-specific aspects of “good/evil” in the two languages.
