Abstract
This paper explores the potential of ensuring stable electricity supplythrough the modeling and analysis of a hybrid energy system combining wind andhydropower, using the Chortoq micro-HPP as a case study. Using MATLAB/Simulinkand HOMER Pro, daily and annual electricity production was calculated based on windconditions and water flow data. The results demonstrate that such an integrated systemcan reduce power outages by up to 75% and decrease reliance on diesel generatorsby 30%. The system is proven to be technically viable, economically beneficial, andenvironmentally friendly.
