Abstract

This article analyzes the role of educational games in teaching English at the secondary school level. It discusses the theoretical, pedagogical, and psycholinguistic foundations of the game-based learning method and presents the results of a pedagogical experiment conducted among school students. Special attention is given to the impact of games on the development of communicative competence, enhancement of motivation, and the formation of a positive attitude toward learning English. Practical examples of classroom game implementation and recommendations for teachers are provided
