Abstract

This study explores the synthesis and application of environmentally friendly polyelectrolyte-based corrosion inhibitors designed for sustainable protection of metal structures. Using gravimetric analysis, we evaluate the effectiveness of phosphorus-based organic compounds and polyelectrolytes in reducing corrosion rates. The results highlight their potential for extending the lifespan of critical infrastructure while minimizing environmental impact. The study also examines the inhibitors' biodegradability, solubility properties, and role in resource conservation by reducing the need for frequent metal replacements. The findings emphasize the significance of developing green corrosion protection technologies that align with sustainable industrial practices and environmental safety.
