Abstract

The incorporation of virtual reality (VR) technologies into music education has the potential to transform conventional teaching approaches by offering immersive, engaging, and customized learning experiences. This document introduces a teaching framework for integrating VR into music education, with the goal of enhancing students’ practical abilities, theoretical understanding, and creative expression. The framework emphasizes experiential learning, personalized feedback, and aligning VR activities with curriculum objectives. The document reviews various studies and theories to demonstrate how VR can aid in performance practice, ear training, comprehension of music theory, and collaborative work. It concludes with recommendations for effective implementation and considerations for future research.
