Abstract

This paper examines database security techniques, focusing on encryption methods (symmetric and asymmetric), access control models (RBAC, ABAC), hashing approaches, and multi-factor authentication. The study evaluates these mechanisms in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA). Findings indicate that robust encryption and strict access control significantly improve the security posture of modern database systems.
