Abstract

This article is dedicated to the comprehensive content of emotional deprivation and its historical emergence within psychological research. It presents the results of scientific studies focused on the influence of emotional deprivation on the development of preschool-aged children as subjects of social relations. The research substantiates the negative consequences of deprivation on children’s interpersonal interaction and social adaptation during early development. The paper emphasizes the practical importance of preventing and correcting this significant developmental issue.
