Abstract

The achievement of state independence in Uzbekistan is a pivotal moment in the nation’s history. On August 31, 1991, Uzbekistan declared its independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union, marking the beginning of a new era of political, economic, and social development. Independence allowed Uzbekistan to establish its own government, develop national policies, and strengthen its cultural identity. Since then, the country has pursued reforms in various sectors, including education, economy, foreign policy, and national security. This milestone has laid the foundation for Uzbekistan’s growth as a sovereign and self-reliant state.
