Artistic and Cognitive Properties of Lexical Homonyms in the Uzbek and Turkish Languages

Abstract

The linguacognitive approach has practical significance in the analysis of speech mechanisms, the processes of reflecting information about the picture of the world and being in linguistic consciousness, the assimilation of word meanings and the storage of concepts in linguistic memory, the perception of the characteristics of objects and events, the semantic development of lexemes, the relationship between form and content in understanding lexical meaning. Lexical homonyms in the Uzbek and Turkish languages, in addition to the semantic, structural and grammatical form, also have content associated with the cognitive structure. In this regard, the linguacognitive analysis of lexical homonyms in the Uzbek and Turkish languages is important for clarifying the features of these languages associated with the formation and development of thinking, perception, imagination of the mental lexicon.The article examines lexical homonymy as a factor in the development of thinking and provides a cognitive-semantic analysis of the genres of tuyuk, askiya, iyhom, tajnis.
