Abstract

Structured games play a crucial role in the holistic development of children, contributing significantly to both physical and psychological growth. In modern educational and developmental practices, rule-based games are increasingly recognized as effective tools for enhancing motor skills, emotional regulation, social interaction, and cognitive abilities. This article aims to analyze the role, functions, and importance of structured games in supporting children’s physical and mental development. Using the IMRAD framework, the study discusses theoretical foundations, analyzes existing research, and highlights the practical implications of incorporating structured games into educational and developmental programs. The findings suggest that structured games not only improve physical fitness and coordination but also foster emotional stability, self-discipline, cooperation, and resilience among children.
