Abstract

This article provides a detailed analysis of the role of interactive methods in developing linguocultural competence through literary texts. The study was conducted in general secondary schools with 60 ninth-grade students. Problem-based learning, debate, cluster, and project-based teaching methods were applied. The findings revealed that interactive approaches improved students’ understanding of cultural units, meaningful use of literary texts, and proper language use in intercultural communication by 35%.
