Pedagogical And Psychological Characteristics of Developing Students’ Communicative Competence in Foreign Language Teaching Based on Web Technologies
Abstract
The rapid development of information and communication technologies has significantly transformed the field of foreign language education. Web-based technologies, in particular, have created new opportunities for developing students’ communicative competence by enabling authentic interaction, learner autonomy, collaboration, and multimodal learning. This article examines the pedagogical and psychological characteristics of developing students’ communicative competence in foreign language teaching based on web technologies. It analyzes the theoretical foundations of communicative competence, explores the pedagogical potential of web-based tools, and discusses psychological factors such as motivation, cognitive engagement, and learner anxiety.
