Abstract

The introduction of intelligent communication networks has radically changed the trends of the educational systems in the world. In this paper, the impact of the intelligent network infrastructure in the socio-economics of contemporary education is discussed by applying the concepts of artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and extended reality (XR). The paper brings out the role of these technologies in creating inclusive, efficient and adaptive learning systems and at the same time overcome access barriers and equity barriers. The proposed study applies the interdisciplinary approach to explore the relationship between technological use, economic effectiveness and social welfare to find out how smart education would have long-term effects on developing economies.
