Abstract

The study evaluated the efficacy of SGLT2 inhibitors combined with metformin in patients with type 2 diabetes. The results demonstrated that the combination therapy improved glycemic control, reduced body weight, lowered blood pressure, and optimized the metabolic profile. The treatment was well tolerated, with minimal adverse effects observed. These findings confirm that the combined therapy represents an effective and safe pathogenetically justified approach for the management of type 2 diabetes.
