Abstract

This article highlights the effectiveness of using game-based methods in mother tongue and reading literacy classes for primary school pupils. The aim of the research is to reveal the role of games in fostering interest in reading, enriching vocabulary, and developing text comprehension skills. The article analyzes the use of word games, sound and letter games, riddles and puzzles, as well as didactic games based on texts.
