Abstract

This article analyzes the interplay between literary tradition and artistic originality in the works of the prominent 19th-century poetess Nodira (Mohlaroyim). It examines, on a scholarly basis, how the poetess continued the rich heritage of classical Eastern literature, while simultaneously developing her individual style through the use of exaggeration, allusion, and symbolism.
