<p>This article will cover the historical roots of the Bukhara Maqam school, the traditions of performance and the formation of the master-disciple system. The unique tones, styles of the Bukhara school are analyzed, as well as examples of art that have come from generation to generation through them. Today, this school shows how the teacher-disciple traditions continue and develop in modern conditions.</p>
