Abstract

This chapter explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain within Healthcare Supply Chain Management (HSCM) under the industry 6.0 paradigm. It highlights how this synergy can address challenges in transparency, traceability, and security. AI enhances prediction, automation, and decision-making, while Blockchain ensures data integrity and trust through immutable ledgers. Together, they enable product traceability, device lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance. Case studies illustrate how smart contracts and analytics reduce human error and prevent counterfeit drugs. The chapter also discusses interoperability, ethical concerns, and the need for global standards and interdisciplinary collaboration. It emphasizes the role of AI-Blockchain convergence in building sustainable, secure, and efficient healthcare supply chains aligned with Industry 6.0 goals.
