Аннотация. Статья посвящена интеграции эмоционального и когнитивного развития в процессе формирования личности ребёнка и подчеркивает стратегическую роль социально-эмоционального обучения (SEL) в современном образовании. Опираясь на философское наследие восточных мыслителей и реформаторские педагогические традиции, автор прослеживает исторические основания эмоционального интеллекта и его значение для гармоничного развития личности.
