Abstract. The article explores the role of epithets as one of the most expressive stylistic devices used to convey emotiveness in political speech. The research examines English and Uzbek political discourse, showing both universal and culturally unique ways in which emotionally charged language is used. Rather than serving only as decorative elements, epithets act as powerful tools of persuasion. And epithets influence public opinion awaken empathy and strengthen ideological messages.
