Abstract

Green hydrogen, generated through renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydropower, signifies a noteworthy progression towards sustainable and ecologically sound energy solutions. In contrast to conventional hydrogen generation technologies that depend on fossil fuels and release substantial quantities of carbon dioxide, green hydrogen provides an environmentally friendly alternative that is essential in the fight against climate change. The versatility of this technology enables its usage in various sectors, including transportation, electricity production, and industrial activities. This reduces the dependence on fossil fuels and leads to a substantial decrease in greenhouse gas emissions. With the increasing focus on achieving ambitious climate targets worldwide, the significance of green hydrogen is rising. It provides a feasible route towards a low-carbon economy and a sustainable energy future.
