ANALYSIS OF REDUCING THE IMPACT OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC ON TRAFFIC FLOW IN THE ROAD NETWORK

Abstract

The current article investigates the influence of pedestrian traffic and traffic congestion on the flow of traffic in the urban road network. The interaction between pedestrians and vehicles was analyzed at a microscopic level during the investigation using modeling programs such as Indor traffic plan and PTV Vissim. This study identified pedestrian saturation points in urban transportation infrastructure and looked into engineering solutions to solve the challenges that develop there.
