Abstract
The article examines the issue of increasing the efficiency of water resource use in agricultural sectors based on a scientific and methodological approach. In the context of increasing water scarcity, a critical analysis of the current state of irrigation systems was carried out, and factors limiting the efficiency of water use were identified. Within the framework of the study, the economic, ecological, and technological advantages of water-saving irrigation technologies are substantiated. The author proposes priority scientific and practical directions aimed at improving water use in agriculture.
