Abstract

Objective. To assess the clinical and epidemiological profile of patients and their level of satisfaction with medical care within the framework of domestic medical tourism, based on the Stavropol Regional Consultative and Diagnostic Center. Material and methods. The study involved 297 patients from different regions of Russia. An anonymous survey was conducted, which included questions on socio-demographic characteristics, reasons for seeking care, service accessibility, and satisfaction level. Results. Most of the respondents were women of working age with higher education and average income. The most in-demand services were provided by cardiologists, endocrinologists, and gastroenterologists. The overall satisfaction rate with the quality of services was 87.2%. The main barriers to the development of domestic medical tourism remain transportation remoteness, the cost of most services, and lack of information. Recommendations were proposed for expanding online consultations, improving patient routing, and implementing evidence-based informational support.
