Abstract
This article analyzes the structure, development, and biological significance of cartilage and bone, which are important types of connective tissue in the human body. The hyaline, elastic, and fibrous types of cartilage, their cellular composition (chondrocytes, chondroblasts), and the properties of the intermediate substance are discussed. The article discusses the structure of bone tissue with the participation of osteocytes, osteoblasts, and osteoclasts, and the formation of cancellous bone, as well as the supporting, protective, and hematopoietic functions of bones.
