Abstract
Resume. The aim of this study was to determine morphological and morphometric changes in the rectum of albino rats with experimentally induced mammary tumors prior to chemotherapy. It was found that during the preclinical stage of the tumor process, significant structural and immune changes occur, indicating the development of paraneoplastic inflammatory syndrome.
