Abstract

Lupus nephritis (LN) is one of the most severe and severe forms of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Kidney damage develops in a significant number of patients and significantly increases the risk of chronic renal failure and mortality. The article presents modern data on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, classification, and principles of treatment of lupus nephritis.
