Abstract

Various dust collection devices with different efficiencies are used worldwide to clean atmospheric air from dust generated during industrial processes and to prevent the release of various harmful emissions into the environment. At present, air purification from harmful and toxic dust released during technological processes is considered a pressing issue. To address this, it is crucial first to study the physicochemical properties of the dust released into the atmosphere. The solid particles contained in the dust emitted from industrial processes vary in size from 0.1 µm to 500 µm. As the size of these fine solid particles decreases, their resistance to the surrounding environment also decreases, resulting in a slower settling process. The dust generated by these technological processes contains elements that are highly dangerous to human health. Therefore, developing new technologies and equipment for air purification from such dust, as well as ensuring the efficient utilization of the captured dust mass, is a highly relevant and important task.
