Abstract

This study is dedicated to analyzing software tools used in higher education institutions to develop students’ digital literacy and their didactic potential in the educational process. In the context of digital transformation, the integration of modern information and communication technologies into the learning environment is of critical importance for effectively organizing educational activities. From this perspective, the study scientifically examines how Learning Management System (LMS) platforms and videoconferencing services influence the development of students’ digital competencies. The results indicate that LMS platforms serve as effective tools for organizing learning materials, managing assignments, and monitoring students’ learning activities. Videoconferencing platforms, in turn, facilitate interactive communication among students, support collaborative projects, and enable effective implementation of distance learning. Analyses demonstrate that an integrated digital environment positively affects students’ technical literacy, information management skills, media literacy, and cybersecurity awareness.
