Abstract

This study is devoted to the optimization and validation of the DPPH method for the evaluation of antiradical activity of plant compositions. The optimal analytical parameters, including DPPH concentration, measurement wavelength, incubation time, and extract volume range, were determined. The main validation characteristics of the method — linearity, sensitivity, precision, and specificity — were assessed. The results confirm that the DPPH assay is a reliable and reproducible tool for determining the antiradical activity of plant extracts. The proposed approach can be applied for the standardization of phytocompositions and screening of natural antioxidants.
