Abstract

This paper explores the application of Smart Dust–based swarm sensor systems for intelligent monitoring of gas exhaust ducts in thermal power and mining–metallurgical facilities in the Zarafshan region. The architecture of microsensor nodes, their operation within a distributed swarm network, and their integration into the cyber physical infrastructure of industrial sites are presented. It is shown that Smart Dust enables continuous, high resolution, multi parameter monitoring of gas exhaust ducts under harsh operating conditions, enhancing the diagnostic value of measurements and providing early detection of structural and process anomalies without reliance on wired infrastructure or high risk manual inspections.
