Abstract

In 80 patients with atopic bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis living in the Bukhara region, a predominance of sensitization to house dust mites (>50%) and a high prevalence of polysensitization were identified. Polysensitization was associated with poor disease control. The findings indicate the need for a stratified and personalized therapeutic approach, taking into account regional characteristics of allergen exposure.
