Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the role of tax policy in ensuring sustainable economic development. The paper examines the mechanisms through which government taxes and duties contribute to financing environmental, social, and economic initiatives. Particular attention is paid to incentive instruments, including environmental taxes, tax incentives for green investments, and taxation that takes into account social impact. Using the example of various countries, including Uzbekistan, the effectiveness of tax mechanisms in supporting sustainable development is analyzed, as well as their impact on investment, innovation, and social welfare.
