Abstract

This article examines the works of Alisher Navо‘i not through a direct generic identification with science fiction, but through analytical approaches developed within the poetics of science fiction. The study identifies narrative and poetic models characteristic of scientific-fantastic works –such as global threat, technological or constructive solutions, and the creation of artificial space –within the framework of classical literature. In Farhod and Shirin, the articulation of problem and solution is realized at the level of individual action, while in Saddi Iskandariy the reorganization of space through a defensive structure becomes central. These features are interpreted as typological affinities with the poetics of science fiction. The findings demonstrate that Navoi’s works intersect with science fiction not at the level of genre, but at the level of narrative logic and modes of thinking, thereby expanding the historical and literary context of scientific-fantastic imagination
