Abstract
The article is devoted to the description of wrestling, wrestling competitions and wrestlers in Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur's work "Boburnoma", as well as the author's attitude to this physical folk game. Babur's view of wrestling is not only a test of physical strength, but also a demonstration of courage, dexterity and willpower, and wrestling competitions are considered a means of increasing military combat effectiveness
