Abstract

Modern medicine is facing a growing problem of antibiotic resistance, which necessitates the development and implementation of new antibacterial drugs. This paper examines new-generation antibiotics, their mechanisms of action, spectrum of activity, and clinical effectiveness. Special attention is given to innovative approaches, including combination drugs, β-lactamase inhibitors, and promising novel molecules. It is shown that new antibiotics are capable of overcoming microbial resistance and expanding the possibilities for the treatment of severe infections.
