Abstract
This topic considers methods for assessing the state of vegetation cover using NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) based on satellite remote sensing data. The study presents a methodology for calculating NDVI values based on Landsat-8 and Sentinel-2 satellite images, visualizing the results on GIS platforms, and monitoring vegetation dynamics over time. The results obtained are of great importance for improving agricultural monitoring systems and early detection of drought risks.
