INTEGRATION OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS INTO THE NEW EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT: PSYCHOLOGICAL CHALLENGES AND STRATEGIES FOR THEIR PREVENTION
Abstract
This scientific work investigates the psycho-emotional state of newly admitted students to higher education institutions, focusing not only on their academic process but also on their adaptation to a wide range of social relationships. The main objective of the study is to analyze the psychological mechanisms of first-year students' adaptation to new life conditions, identify the discomforts they experience, and develop effective intervention programs. The study examines cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects using a comprehensive approach. The results serve as a basis for developing practical recommendations aimed at accelerating students' academic integration, strengthening their psychological resilience, and improving the support systems of higher education institutions. Research object: the psychological adaptation process of students entering a new educational environment. Research subject: psycho-emotional difficulties during the adaptation period and methods for their resolution. Research methodology: theoretical analysis, empirical observation, qualitative and quantitative research methods, training technologies.
