Abstract
This article analyzes the artistic and linguistic representation of the worldview in riddles, one of the oldest genres of Uzbek folk oral literature. Riddles reflect the people’s perception of nature, existence, human life, and society, as well as their mythological thinking and national mentality. The study examines the concept of the worldview from linguistic, folkloric, mythological, and conceptual perspectives and analyzes images related to nature, flora and fauna, the cosmos, and human activities in riddles. The cognitive, educational, and aesthetic significance of riddles is highlighted, emphasizing their role in shaping folk thinking and cultural identity
