Abstract

The article examines the assessment of cognitive processes in children aged 5–6 with motor alalia. Diagnostic methods aimed at evaluating attention, memory, thinking, sensory development, and spatial representations are systematized. The specific features of cognitive processes in children with motor alalia and their impact on speech development are analyzed. It is shown that a comprehensive study of cognitive functions plays a significant role in determining the level of mental development and improving the effectiveness of corrective and pedagogical interventions.
