Abstract
This article explores modern assessment methods used in fine arts education. It highlights innovative approaches to evaluating students’ creative abilities, including formative and summative assessment, portfolio-based evaluation, peer assessment, and rubric-based criteria. The study emphasizes the importance of developing students’ creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills through fair and transparent evaluation techniques in visual arts lessons.
